There was a time these shades didn't spark any conversations. They were sitting at the bottom of a heap at the Dollar Store with other plasticky use and throw party favors. They're a lot happier now since we picked em up. A little love from Mr. T does that to ya.

The Whiteout is an initiative by artists Vicente Montelongo and Vinit Patil. Everything you see here is made from discarded objects found at flea markets, thrift stores and yard sales. The items are cleaned, primed, spray painted and used as a canvas for original pen and ink illustration. Proceeds from sales are used to support thrift stores, art programs and recycling efforts around the world.
